Right day for Opticians isn't it! Fly ladies synchronising visits for kids and it's not even the school holidays.

Bonnie how are DDs hives? Do you still think it is grass? Why did you have to pay to see a GP?

    DS2's room all done.

Going to re-tidy the kitchen and change the pet bedding. May do a bit of ironing and I want DS2&3 both to shower in the next 30 minutes too.

dancemum - glad you're ok after yesterdays close shave. Thanks for the reminder though - must do a will here too.
    mummyof5 - lovely pics.
Happy Birthday Goodintentions, hope you enjoy your weekend away.
Rowan - "putting the house to bed" is a great tip. I've started doing similar and it makes such a difference in the morning.
Bossymoo hope you had a good day out. The weather's been lovely here today so no frizzy hair for me for once! ETA Looks like you did have a good day. Hope you enjoy the time to yourself at the weekend. If you don't fancy the hen night, could you make plans with friends instead?
Boodle hope you're ok and getting plenty of rest.

Hi to everyone else. I'm off to watch some TV, drink some wine and make a start on my book (THE book! lol) although possibly not all at the same time!

valli~ is there an invoice or packing note with the shoes showing the size? if not I would ring / email them and complain anyway, and see what happens, let them prove to you, that you ordered 3 and not a 6!!
    Packing note shows 3 :o

Hi there. Just a quick post tonight as our street has been without power for nearly 2 hours - it came on 5 mins ago - bah!

So, have just washed a salad and put a quickie pizza in the oven, so we can scoff in around 15 mins.

Since returning from work I've: tidied up after OH and cat - how can two individuals make such a mess - things everywhere, damp-dusted conservatory, put away the washed bedding and towels from this morning and slept for an hour!

Good vibes to everyone feeling poorly and good luck to all those going for interviews and see you tomorrow. It's forecast rain again here and I'm going shopping for a sick friend first thing - hope it's not too bad. X

DS ended up at A&E today with a split lip - he threw something in a skip at work and wasn't really looking - something flew out and hit him on the lip.... hence 2 stitches!!

A&E will shortly be issuing him a loyalty card he's there so often....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He didn't have a good day - he hit one of his finger nails with a hammer today.....

I feel rough - I have a sore throat, both ears hurt and i'm sweaty.... I also had the day from hell at work ( I was that close to telling the boss exactly what I think and tendering my resignation to boot!).

So I am going to take another dose of painkillers and hit the hay...

    Night all!

Well OH and I have eaten and done a HHC, more so its tidy enough I can start on the lists in the morning while he's asleep (the new anti-Ds make him sleep from midnight till 4pm atm EEK! as well as stripping all of his motivation). I think I surprised OH, I found a list of the chores I prefer being done during the week, so I don't come home to a weeks worth of dishes, and I think he meant to do them today.

Its seems that my lappy will NOT allow me to post, trying to update this from my phone could be fun. Does anyone know if NoScript could be the problem? I've tried allowing all the scripts and its being v.stubborn. Can't even edit properly on the phone so would like to work out the problem while I'm home and can use the laptop

Valli - I've had your sig about putting away not just down has been haunting me recently, and I'm sure I'm tidier for it :)

    GoodIntentions - Happy Birthday :)
