[Quoting kazwookie] valli~ is there an invoice or packing note with the shoes showing the size? if not I would ring / email them and complain anyway, and see what happens, let them prove to you, that you ordered 3 and not a 6!!

Perhaps the sellers are working on the basis of 2 shoes x size 3 = size 6
    :-)

My blood pressure is slowly coming down after the Dr put me on medication and I feel a lot better this morning, so I have flown round (gently!) for an hour. So far I have cleaned all the upstairs, tidied all the downstairs ready for cleaning and done 2 out of 4 loads of washing, hoping that the rain will keep off for the rest of the day - "Rain before 7, fair before 11" is true at present, but there are some nasty clouds around and not much wind to give the towels a good blow. Also, I keep hearing what sounds like thunder. but I think it's actually the American jet pilots playing catch-me-if-you-can!

Now enjoying a cup of coffee and a sit-down until 11, then I'll finish flying downstairs. Anyone care to join me in the final blitz? DH is on mornings only this week and wants to go out this afternoon. The HHI will have to wait until this evening, and I can do the medicine cabinet tomorrow morning before the next visit to the Dr.

ionafan - I always knew that saying as 'fine at 7, rain before 11' ...... but I did grow up in Manchester!:rotfl::rotfl:

Hurling it down in York AGAIN today! I don't know how much more of this I can take! As a neighbour said today you're not supposed to get SAD in July!

I'm going to end up wet at work again - I can either get wet by cycling or walk and stand at the bus stop and get wet ........ personally I think I'll cycle and save the bus fare!:money::money:

    Morning all

Boodle - rest, the flying will still be there when you are better - you are officially on the sick list today.

Goodintentions Happy Birthday and don't feel bad, it is the Mum who should be feeling guilty for being so cheeky

Special 10 you are doing well, we all suffer towards the end of the week with lack of motivation so don't feel you're failing.

Mummyyof5 lovely picture, I forget, is BabyD with Dad? Glad you pointed out LO was a boy, I was fooled!

Need to collect DS3 for osteo in 15 minutes so going to collect some dead slugs and then get a move on.

(Late) morning all! Have been up and about but Internet playing up a bit.

Happy birthday wishes to Good Intentions, and welcome to Ionafan, from one 'Special' to another! I've just had my mad half-hour, so only just seen your post, but I hope you got as much done as me, as I was flying!

I - changed the bed, S&S bathroom and kitchen, changed cat's food and water and fed the baby birds outside. We've loads of starlings this year, plus robins, bluetits and wrens. Also did 2 bits of paperwork and a quick sewing repair on a top - how about that!

Thank you again for this thread - it does really encourage me to do things!

Had a close shave today, a fire engine crashed 2 cars in front of me on way to my dentists. We are ok but I'm going to eat that frog of making a Will asap.
:eek::eek::eek::eek: OMG, an experience like that does tend to focus the mind, I guess. Though, IMHO that's one frog everyone should eat before they need to even think about worrying about it, iyswim.;)

Bedroom day today - the lists this week seem to be following my own schedule!:D I also want to get ahead and get the spare room done (just needs a basic clean/dust and check that everything's stayed tidy, as it's used as storage);) because Mr LW is wfh tomorrow, starting at 06:00, so he will require intravenous tea all morning, dins at 12:00, and then we have to go into town when he finishes work at 14:30 (try yet again to see if S/drug have my Moclobemide tablets in yet).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
