Lol it's not like that Bonnie!! I've had enough of men for now after being let down by the (ex)boyfriendish AGAIN!
The DDs dad came round to drop presents off, he's been working abroad. He's going to work on my [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] garden at the weekend cos its too much for me.
DD1 and I went shopping for a few bits so not much else got done in the house
Will start again tomorrow . . .0 -
Did a bit of paperwork - it takes so long!!
DS emptied the DW (without being asked! :T) I got the washing in. I don't think I am going to get much done for the rest of the week. I am working all day tomorrow, and as it is my birthday, I won't be able to spend tomorrow evening doing paperwork! And DH and I are going away for the weekend on Friday :j:jAs soon as we have watched the olympic torch, we will be on out wayYay!!
Off to bed now - I am not waiting up for DD1I gave her money for a taxi. Night all

Mummyyof5 - I love your pics - aren't they all gorgeous!
Pigpen - have you tried the website 'I want one of those'? My OH is a geek too (IT designer) and I really struggle to get something different, but this site usually has some good gadgets.
Had a lazy night, more tennis - and our guy is through to the semis, hurrah, (come on Tim!), but one thing we always do is 'put the house to bed' which may be a good tip to newbies (sorry if I'm saying something you all do!)
We wash or put in dishwasher any pots, clear up rubbish, mags or papers, plump cushions, straighten things up, give cat clean dishes & new food, it takes only 10mins or so, but the difference in the morning is great! We've had several friends staying over the years and they've all said they now do it at their homes.
Good night and see you tomorrow.0 -
It's mine birthday next week too Wendywitch:) last years was awful so I'm determind not to repeat it this year. Hate any fuss etc but gonna plan a birthday lunch with my DGDs, DH, DD and DN. the girlies will love it which will make my day. I had a little chuckle when I read or should I say misread your post earlier I thought you'd put tidy the bedroom in case we need to use it! Think it's all this talk of 50 shades muckying my mind!
Loving the photos mummyof5 you must be a very proud mummy:) I love to see the photos puts faces to the names:) thank you
