moving contacts from iphone to galaxy?

please can someone tell me how I transfer my contacts from my iphone to my new galaxy s3. my contacts from my iphone are all synced to my windows mail but I have no clue as to how to get them to my galaxy. when I plug in my phone to pc it opens in windows media, but I can't work out how to sync it with mail.

    Is there not sync software that comes with the handset? When I changed handset there was some software to transfer the contacts, was easy , it even transferred the photo tags too.

    You need the app call Easy Phone Sync.
    You would be able to get your contacts, messages, photos, videos, music, podcasts and playlists from the iPhone via iTunes and transfer them to the S3.

    In addition to the Android app, you would also have to download a PC or Mac software and install it on your computer in order to sync iTunes with the Galaxy S3.

    For now I think it is UK only.

    unfortunatly no, there was just a usb lead, nothing else!

    The software is often on the SD card that comes with the handset.
