I think I'm going to invest in one of those chair walking stick things. I already have a walking stick and it won't be a substitute for my wheelchair but it will be good for when I'm well enough to go gaming or DH starts gigging (dreading that because of my anxiety issues.:o) as it will mean I'll be able to sit down as I can't stand up for too long.:o

Hi all, hope everyone is well. Not visited the inn for a while. Won a hamper of Soreen for my workplace last week, so that went down VERY well with my colleagues as you can imagine! Very rainy here today, but had a gorgeous sunny day yesterday and visited Harrogate with my mum and sister. Lovely little town, though I went a bit mad in the sales! Came home with all my bargains ( mostly used birthday money for them, so didn't spend too much of my own!) then looked in my wardrobe and realised I may now have too many clothes for my week in the Isle of Wight!

Hi everyone

I've been away for a short holiday in the Forest of Dean so haven't been posting for a while. We were incredibly lucky with the weather as it tended to rain at night and not while we were out during the day. I even got sunburnt during a day at the WWT Slimbridge on Wednesday.

Came back to a WEM saying I've won one of the Sun's Lego toys from FB and several parcels - 5 books and a DVD.

There's another Times competition tomorrow (Saturday 14) to win a bike every 15 minutes - comp post is here and will add full details when they become available.
