So glad my bites have nearly all gone now. There is one stubborn one that is taking longer than the others but still putting the cream on to help. Hopefully won't get bites like that again. Will definitely get some repellent for next time we go down to friends, eso if we are going to the New Forest again :rotfl:

Dinx do some comps hopefully they will clear your head and cheer you up. In years to come it will prob one of those stories you will both laugh at.

Flylady thread is in old style and they put lists everyday for people to follow for keeping on top of housework / cleaning etc. Friends and family find it hilarious that I try and follow that and post on 'my home is a mess' and 'decluttering' threads as I have recently set up my own business cleaning :cool:.

Sounds like you've had a rubbish morning, Dinx! I hope that you get some nice wins today to make up for it.

Postie brought a bill, a magazine and my two Oats So Simple cereal bars that I won. He also brought a leaflet about the leaving parcels with neighbours. I think we're going to opt out. I don't know most of the people on the estate and I have trust issues!

Had some nice toasting waffles for breakfast.

My Postie excelled himself, here before 10am, it's normally nearer 1pm. All he had for us was a brochure from a vitamin company. 2 delivery vans have stopped right outside since, neither of them came here

Lol Dinx, your DH sounds like mine.....he was a window fitter/maker for 22 yrs and when we moved in this house (10 yrs ago) he bought a brand new set of French doors with him....they're still sitting proudly in the garage waiting to be fitted, my French doors in now have never opened!

Has your hubby got over his cornflakeitis fire**fly? at least he gets up happy go lucky. I'm not a morning person...my DD asked if I wake up feeling grumpy and I told her no....grumpy's normally gone to work by then! :rotfl:
