Hi I am a new comper. It seems to have taken over my life at the moment. Ive been at it non stop and as of yet have failed to win anything. I would really appreciate any advice and tips from you guys :A

How long have you been comping for? :p

It can take a while to get your first win.

My tips are: Always use a separate comping email address and always make sure to tick/untick boxes related to marketing (tick and untick depends on the company and sometimes they swap them!)

Night at the inlaws while they are away so there looks like there is activity here throghout the week. They dont like leaving it unattended for long so we always pop in a lot while they are away. I dont mind doing it but its so boring here :rotfl: not the same as chilling in your own house.

Morning all hope our Tuesdays are full of smiles and surprises.

Inlaws neighbour told DH that their alarm had been going off but we are thinking that he is mistakeb as it wasn't flashing in need of beinf resetting when i came to it yesterday so with us staying last night it wasnt on so we are going ro see if he says anything today about it. Apparantly mother in law had problems with him saying it before when it hadnt but i dont suppose he thinks she has told us that.

Hopefully there is something edible in in laws cupboards for brekkie otherwise its going to be a long day :D

    STUPID OH:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

For those of you who don't know I have a hearing impairment (have around 25% of the hearing of a 'normal' bod, but with a hearing aid around 75%), with hearing aid in I can manage day to day quite well, but obviously take out at night and dead to the world and very hard to wake up:D.

There he is hammering at the door at 7.30 this morning and it did wake me up, (I actually thought something had hid the house!).

I leg it down stairs to find him absolutely fuming on the doorstep because he has gone out of the broken door (that he has failed to fix I might add:D), and it has closed behind him looking his keys inside.

Amongst the swears and curses I put together that he has been banging and shouting and phoning the house for 45 minutes to try and get my attention :rotfl:.

Now we have been married for 15 years and because like in all areas of life I cope well with anything and don't show problems about not hearing stuff he "forgets" that I have a problem and yet it is still my fault that I didn't hear him. !!!!!!!!!

Yes darling of course dinner will be waiting for you when you get home NOT!!!

Time for a coffee me thinks:D.

Sounds like you've had a bad start to the day dinx, hope it improves for you. We had a car alarm going off after midnight last night, DH was out of bed like a shot, just in case someone was touching his precious motor. It makes me laugh, I went into town yesterday and while my car was parked I had the lads there clean it. DH is going to archery today (first time in ages) and he has asked if he can take my car. Can't take his up to that field where you drive along dusty old tracks!

Hope everyone has some luck today :D

Oh dear DINX these things are sent to try us. Hope he comes home in a better mood for you. Must be very dfficult for you both at times. Like DH and his eyesight its not so much i forget more i don't know what he can and cannot see (hard for him to exolain to a sighted person) so sometimes he gets frustrated with me for either overcompensating and pointing out everything or for not doing enough.

Thanks Stokie, ISWYM about you not knowing what the other person can/can't see or hear.

Normally it just doesn't bother me and I shrug it off but today for some reason , I think it was the sarcasm that dripped from his voice that said "Oh ignore the 20 odd missed calls on your phone, they are from me".

Never mind the fact that if he actually finished fixing things when he starts, like the door, he wouldn't have been locked out in the first place.:D
