As always, left everything to the last minute of my hols lol (6 days of doing nothing has been bliss though!) so yesterday did all the cleaning and today sun is out so lots of washing and tackling front garden. Have decided it needs to be turfed as the cats keep using the gravel as a giant litter tray! So that's my next challenge! Need to find some reasonably cheap turf first though :money: Also, anyone any idea of how much it costs to have a stopcock replaced? :money: xx

 Just passing through and thought I would put my customer services hat on :)

@ melvis Stopcocks are between £5 and £10 to buy and how much a plumber will charge is anybody's guess. A decent, honest plumber should really charge no more than 30 quid, but a cowboy will need you to remortgage your house ;)

Anyone else whilst I have the hat on??

    Hi,

Well done to everyone who got their prizes, awards etc today. Its nice when peeps are happy. It has been really hot here this afternoon so all washing is done and ironed. Just having a coffee before I start the packing.I have a list so won't take long!
Hope you find a cardigan for DD Wingo, hope I have everything for mine as only a few days of hols left. Have booked something for the October Hols today - 4 nights in a new caravan at Trecco Bay,Porthcawl (£164) and a night on the way down at a new Express by Hol Inn Preston (£31.25 including breakfast and WIFI!)
Quite pleased with myself, trying to decide if we need a night on the way home too. Seems strange booking a 2 bedroom caravan but DS3 won't be coming with us any more:(

Well done TeaPea, very efficient I must say. You came up with answers for Wingo and Melvis while I was still thinking about it.

Just to put my two pennies worth in wingo, Tesco are good and was going to suggest Sainsbury's as ours do lots of uniform and quality is good too.

Sorry Melvis, cant suggest a plumber but hope you get it sorted soon.

Lady M, its lovely that you can now feel the baby moving around, there is nothing like it is there. My daughter has to fill in DLA forms for her son who has autism and she hates doing them as she says they are very time consuming.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. the weather in Durham has been good today and hope it remains the same tomorrow as I still haven't cut the lawns.

OMG I hope I haven't pressed anything I shouldn't have on 1789 and 1790 as the spam button has disappeared. It was on Barnabysue and Sheils. Have I done something or am I just going mad.

A message comes up saying thank you for reporting this as spam - you just hit spam button again and it says thank you for reporting you no longer think this is spam. (not exact wording!)
