Lagos is a lot bigger than Alvor, it takes about 75 minutes to drive their from the airport

There are probably transfers available from the airport to Lagos by independent travel companies.

Thanks yea we usually book an independant transfer on line. Is Carvoeiro anything like Alvor??

Lagos is roughly an hour from the airport. A direct transfer would cost €140.

The marina area is quite central, with a 10 minute walk along the promenade into town. Other suggestions would be Carvoeiro or Tavira.

I just got back from Vilamoura.

We stayed in a villa that we rented from James Villas. It was lovely, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room and lounge, and private pool and garden, and cost no more than a 1 bed hotel room in their sale!

They had lots on their website in the Algarve. They suggest if you need a car or not so you could rent somewhere more central.

But driving there is really easy. It only cost us 100euro to rent the car so cheaper than getting taxis everywhere.
