Hi ELISAMOOSE - it makes a really good strudel casing, either for apple and sultana or a savoury one with cheese/tuna and veg. Also good for samosas, mock spring rolls and if you like dried fruit it is good with a fig roll type filling Hope that helps Cheers Lyn.0

I've wrapped it around a small tower of blackpudding and goats cheese slices. Quite rich but yummy once in a while.0

Baklava.

This is a really simple recipe I've used before. You can use any nuts, but some pistachios in the mix work particularly well.
It's so easy, but so impressive!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I like a spring roll type deal. Fill it with beansprouts and finely sliced veg, mixed with chunky peanut butter, soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce or ketchup, then bake.Love and compassion to all x0

Thanks for all your suggestions.... Sorry about the duplication...did look at the recipe index but could not find anything.0

Line your fairy cake tin sections with a few squares of pastry overlapping, then put in some roasted butternut squash and feta and bake til the pastry is crispy. Delicious! (Had them as canapes at a wedding recently - so tasty!)0

I often use it to make mushroom parcels - roast some large mushrooms, drain on kitchen paper to remove excess liquid, place on 3 squares of filo, stuck together with a little spray oil or melted butter, fill with wilted spinach, blue cheese and toasted pine nuts, wrap like a little parcel and bake for about 15 minutes
Also filled with mincemeat, and rolled like a spring roll, baked and dusted with icing sugar makes a delish pudding!I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D
Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:0 -

Perfect for summer..If we ever get one. The baklava can be had afterwards with a strong cup of coffee.0 -
