Who are the "go to" car hire excess insurance firms for an annual a policy?

Hi all

I'm hiring a car for two weeks in Spain this coming Wednesday, and then another in Czech Rep in August (for 10 days). From what I've read and from the quotes I've looked at, it would seem that it will be most cost effective to get an annual policy.

What I'm not certain about is which companies are "tried and tested" and most likely to be helpful and pay out should the need arise to use them....

Anyone with more experience than me got any suggestions?

Many thanks

Max

Not directly useful but perhaps you're a stage ahead of me on this do can I ask, is it pretty much guaranteed that Spanish car hire companies will accept these policies? Silly question but we've all had crazy experience at places like Malaga airport with car hire companies. Thanks!

No need for them to 'accept' the policy. You have to pay for any damage and the insurance reimburses you. So make sure you have a suitable limit on your CC for the excess.
