Points for scanning shopping

Options
Hi,

Is anyone else doing this?

I received a survey through Test and Vote from AC Nielsen, to ask whether I would be willing to scan everything I get from supermarkets, local shops etc and I would get paid 400 points each week. Does anyone know where I could find out where I can view these points accumulating?

    Hi there
I do this with Nsm you have to scan everything you buy and post reciepts weekly, you can view your points online- ive been doing it for 2 months and i have £16 but i worked out i'll probably get £70 a year in total!
it's very easy to do and they provide all the equiptment, i'd say go for it!

I find shop & scan the best. I scan the barcodes, upload them on a sunday night and get 1000 points for it. When you reach 10,000 points you get a £10 voucher for thomas cook, argos, jjb, halfords amongst many more. Plus, you don't have to send receipts so it's far less work!
  • im a member of shopandscan

been scanning my shopping for nearly a year now

scan my shopping once a week

transmit my barcodes on a sunday night

and get credited 1000 points a week which is worth £1

once you get 10000 points you can cash out for a £10 gift voucher

can someone send me an invitation for shop and scan please?
  • It is factfinders, thanks. I couldn't remember the name. There is an 0800 number with all there bumpf they sent me, but I couldn't find out if they had a website. I now have and it's http://factfinders.acnielsen.co.uk/FactFinders/default.aspx

I don't find it takes very long at all and the scanner is very easy to use. I think they said I would get 400 points a week and if I wasn't shopping any week (on hols for eg) I just had to record that on the scanner and I'd still get paid.

My hubby sent of for this, it arrived this morning. On the bumpf it says " Every 4 weeks your points account will be credited with up to 400 points." They have the reward catalogue in with the pack. The rewards don't seem all that great to me. i.e Beech based napkin holder 2250 points or x box 260 33400 points.

The scanning base and scanner seem quite big and have to be plugged in all the time, you have to do receipts, weight, pre packed or loose.
I'm with shop and scan which is very easy points build up really qiuckly, good choice of rewards and only takes ten weeks before you can claim.
It is really quick and easy to scan and unpack.

Fact finders seems very time consuming to me and the pack is going back. Will stick to shop and scan.
