Oh Emsjune - big hug - hope it all goes well tomorrow for you. well done for the gym stuff - I really should start something but i cant be bothered, by the time Ive done the horses and walked the dog im usually knackered !!! :D

Thankyou all for the good wishes for Grape - we changed the bandage again today, and it looks so much better, the pocket that was there is almost filled in completely - so with luck the 10 days that my boss was talking about for keeping her in and bandaged will be all she needs !!!
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

Hi ladies! Been a bit out of it, holidays and all that.

Picked up a Glamour and Red freebies this month, but wavering on the Neom one. No hand cream in stash and id like to try it, but not sure. Has anyone purchased it so far and can give a run down? Which smell do you prefer out of the two?

Any info would be appreciated! X x x

I have had the most awful day at work (I seem to be saying that a lot lately) - we had an external audit, I wasn't looking forward to it and it turned out to be just as unpleasant as I suspected it would be. Tomorrow I have the joy of listening to the findings (which are always negative). I'm glad to have got the main bit out of the way today - I don't know why I let work effect me so much, I wish I was one of those people who can just brush things off... :(

To make a positive out of the day I went to the gym tonight even though I was tired and could have easily sat on the sofa moping but I'm glad I went as feel so much better for it. :T

TBS Almond Hand & Nail Cream - WBA - Love this! Gorgeous smell, very moisturising without being greasy or sticky, bought on one of their constant offers its good value as a large tube. Could be a HG - must start compiling my list as the stash dwindles.

    Ems x

(((((HUGS)))) to you, Ems. That sounds like a dreadful day :( I really hope that tomorrow isn't as bad as you anticipate. I'll be sending hopeful thoughts your way! :)

Very well done for going to the gym afterwards, though. Amazing! I'm glad that it helped :)

I'm going to put TBS Almond Hand Cream on my 'to try' list. I love almonds and the L'Occitane sample tube I had was lovely but expensive  Still, I have at least one year of hand cream to go so no purchase by me until I've made a big dent in that :rotfl:

    Best of luck tomorrow :A

I'm still on the wagon, despite the special offers flying around  I can't claim much credit for this 'good' behaviour though as I think my brain has been so full that it couldn't even think about toiletries! (That's when I know things are bad :rotfl:) The flip side is that stress is definitely a buying trigger, so maybe I am doing ok? (I need to be cautious as I might snap and buy something tomorrow )

I'm reading along with the thread and you're all keeping me company, which is lovely :D The sad news is that my Grandmother died on Sunday morning but it is one of those cases where it's definitely 'for the best'. She was a remarkable woman and lived well (and independently) for most of her life. She had a happy 103rd (!) birthday earlier this year, so we know she was very lucky. We had managed to get her into a peaceful nursing home for the final three weeks, so that was good as well. (I'm still not impressed with the hospital for effectively kicking her out when she was still very ill with an infection though...)

As for the problem with my assessment, I've been booted back to square one :wall::wall::wall: I'm fighting on, though...

So many good UUs going on! ***APPLAUDS***

Just staring DAY 12, here's hoping!

Willowbee, sorry about your Grandmother, best wishes to you and your family, it is good that you managed to find her a suitable nursing home for her final days.

Huge boo to the assessement business, it sounds if you are coping pretty well with that, keep fighting, but try and get some rest/relaxation in to help you manage the stress, do you do meditation/relaxation CD's?

Emsjune, I hope that today wll be a better day for you, huge well done for managing to go to the Gym, it was obviously the right thing for you, but it must have taken a lot of willpower for you to get there.

I hope that you all have the lovely sunshine that is here atm, hugs and sunshine to everyone.

Soap and Glory Mist You Madly, 250ml - WNBA not because i didn't like the smell but because the damm bottle was such an awkward size! Ended up using most of it as a room freshener lol
Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Sample - WNBA, didn't mind the scent but didn't like it enough to buy it full size!

so sorry to hear about your gran but 103 is a remarkable age when you think of the times she lived through.I know all about hospitals.......my mum was practically thrown out of a hospice in the rain and had to be carried on a stratcher with an umberalla over her to my brothers house in so much pain my sister had to get the morphine out of her safe and take it there so the doctor could give it to her(apparently there is a shortage and they gave it to my sister so mum could have it at the end)........she never came round and died that night:mad::mad::mad:she should never have been moved and was comfortable in the hospice but had not died in time for them!!!!!!it is a few years ago but i still get upset when I think of what she went through.
