My OPI Minnie Mouse set from QVC arrived, it looks so pretty. I was sent a £10 off wys £30 voucher and the temptation was too much, it made the set excellent value. I'm counting this as one in for the handcream, as I don't class the other items as toiletries. Will try the nail varnishes out tomorrow evening.

Mine has arrived too but I haven't had a good look as it's a birthday gift for Emma for next week. Really liked the colours when I saw the demos on QVC. I also had the voucher and was really impressed at the value of this kit once that was deducted. No INs for me as re: this kit either.

lena white have sent me an email today of a set of OPI minis that look really lush but I must resist.

Another UU : Philosophy Fresh Vanilla Frost shower gel. WNB - this was a gift and I suspect one of the limited edition type that is released for Christmas. It was nice but no nicer than Cinnamon Buns which I have in stash and will use next.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone is well, Trudij I hope Grape is on the mend, that first pic looked so nasty.

I have had the most awful day at work (I seem to be saying that a lot lately) - we had an external audit, I wasn't looking forward to it and it turned out to be just as unpleasant as I suspected it would be. Tomorrow I have the joy of listening to the findings (which are always negative). I'm glad to have got the main bit out of the way today - I don't know why I let work effect me so much, I wish I was one of those people who can just brush things off... :(

To make a positive out of the day I went to the gym tonight even though I was tired and could have easily sat on the sofa moping but I'm glad I went as feel so much better for it. :T

Sorry for the moan off topic, back to business - I've had a small flurry of UU over the last couple of days :D:

Gucci body lotion - I think this was Rush without looking at my stash list - the one in the red box-like bottle - really lovely but tough plastic packaging very impractical to get the dregs out of - sawing it in half seemed too much effort and danger for a final use. WMBA as is a lovely fragrance and a nice light lotion.

No. 7 Essential Moisture day cream - this has been a real LHJ, I used to like it but have more recently realised it doesn't really suit my combination skin (in fairness it designed for normal/dry skin), so have been alternating it with other things. I've mainly gone back to it when my skin has reacted to something else which happens now and again and is a bit dryer than usual, when it needs a bit of TLC. The kind of thing I wouldn't actually buy again but would use if someone gave it to me or it was in a gift set, GWP etc. Can't use the P&P moisturisers as I have a very bad reaction to those but like the intense serum and also the foaming cleanser from the Beautiful Skin range so can usually find something to spend the vouchers on. :rotfl:

Benefit POREfessional - I like the feel of this on my skin and think its a great base for makeup but do I like it enough to buy full price (this was a Glamour freebie) - probably not as think there's similar, cheaper products out there that'd do the same job - going to try the That Gal next but might keep that for hols with the rest of my growing minis collection! :o

TBS Almond Hand & Nail Cream - WBA - Love this! Gorgeous smell, very moisturising without being greasy or sticky, bought on one of their constant offers its good value as a large tube. Could be a HG - must start compiling my list as the stash dwindles.

I'm sure Emma will love the kit. Tonight I've used the colour of minnie and the nothin mousie 'bout it glitter. These two together look really pretty. The hearts were a pain to apply but worth it for the effect I think. Since I had to apply a large portion of the hearts individually I am wondering if tiny glitter shapes such as these can be bought out of polish and applied to a wet layer of varnish, this would be easier than having to dig them out of the polish to apply. The pink/purple glitter in this polish is gorgeous though so am still glad I bought it.

Naughty lena white for tempting you, stay strong.

    Another UU: JLo Glow perfume.

WIBA? Well, I didn't in the first place - it was a gift. It was nice enough, but the smell lacked the 'wow' factor. There are nicer ones out there for me, but I appreciated the fact that someone bought it me as a gift.

Ooh...what next? Use the last bottle of OKish stuff or go onto a bottle of really nice stuff for a break? I'm going on holiday on Saturday, so I'm tempted to take something really nice, or maybe I can just wear the rest of my 'going out' perfume, which is lovely and has been hanging round for ages. Maybe I'll do that...it means I get to both have a holiday luxury and keep on UU. :)
