£8.30 PAD for me today to the cc plse mandz

I may not have been PAdding as much as i'd like due to the increasing squeeze on funds but I've been very MSE in the last few weeks: I got our car insurance renewal down from £343 to £226 with the same insurer after going through comparison sites (via Topcashback!) and then ringing them up to ask why the renewal was so much more expensive than the comparison site quote and they gave me the online price; edf wanted to raise my direct debit from £73 to £107 - another phone call with me trying not lose my rag got the rise to only £10, although I'm still annoyed at any rise; and I've just rung Sky today and got my sky sports at half price for 6 months (desperate not tohave to give it up with Ashes this summer!) and line rental on my phone free for 6 motnhs. Pleased at the results but it shows you've constantly got to be alert and spend the time not to pay more than necessary.

Keep going everyone, can't let the b's get to us!!
