Well, it was going to be £1.76 to the Egg card, but the direct debit to that one is due tomorrow or Wednesday and I thought paying less than the minimum might mess that up, so it's another £5 to the NatWest overdraft.

Hi Erme - click on "more" under smilies as you post and a pop up window comes up with extra smilies there.

Just a small PAD of £4.63 for me this morning :T

    Have a great day :D

You should total sometime. Just takes a spreadsheet...others will say how they did it but I just (last month) put the date, the post no and the amount in column headers then like had a column for daily totals and weekly totals....

    Easy peasy

Just want to say....whilst I'm here...welcome all new padders.....

You can't leave (officially) now you've joined but there's all sorts of ways of padding. It's really helped me get my debt down. Also there's a useful tool called a debt snowball which can be found http://www.whatsthecost.com/snowball.aspx if you're unsure what to do first?

I know the Snowball helped me pay off my macbook - then I stalled.

Don't be embarassed about whoopsies, or even going backwards/down or any probs. We're here to support not judge. So long as you keep trying we're happy :money:

I know I only have the overdraft to clear now and even though my debt wasn't much I've tried lots of things since my Light bulb moment (LBM) so it's taken years from Dave Ramsey (he got rid of my Credit Cards 2uge4p4.gif to CAP (Debt management program) to all sorts of things but it's been MSE I've stuck with (through the highs and lows) and that's helped the most....

So welcome newbies :) - even if it's just a wee pad of 1p a day or rounding down or padding when you can it all helps...

The following may help if you don't have a spreadsheet or something to log your incomings and outgoings

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/free-office-software

this works on most things (windows and macs etc) and it's open source....so should help

But if you're desperate for microsoft check out http://www.software4students.co.uk/t/brands/microsoft-office-2010 (though they haven't got many left in windows)

PS. Counter uppers - for some fab smileys (should have used more of them - woe is me) try https://www.pic4ever.com E

Room for an 'old' padder to come back? New thread, new start and all...? I've fallen off the wagon a bit.

Pads of £565 for yesterday and £237.34 for today total £802.34 from me.

*Clicks subscibe so I have no further excuses*
