Probably not posting this in quite the right place but it seems to be the most active thread here re Sun Hols!
I am going to be booking for just 2 people, my husband and myself and I fully understand that we have to pay for 4.
Now, my friend and her husband have said they want to come which is fine.
Does this mean we have to pay more (or just for 4 anyway?) ;)
Importantly, as there are now 4 of us, we will get a bigger caravan, yeah? this will be important!
Be grateful for replies from many of you in the know....we have only booked for the 2 of us before.

Hi, if there are four of you going you will still pay the basic amount for four people. If five of you were going you'd add on another £9.50 for an extra person. However, if only four of you are going, you'll only get a standard two bedroomed caravan/apartment. If you wish to have a 3 bedroomed one, I think you can request that with the park you go to, but you would have to pay extra for that (I think it's about £15 or £25 but someone else might know better?). HTH xx

if theres four of you going then you only pay for the 4,
i always take 5 and we get given a 2 bed caravan but once the send me the invoice of how much i owe the site i then pay an extra £15 so we can upgrade to a 3 bed,
most sites send you a leaflet with all the upgrades u can do,then just ring them up and tell them what you want

Its up to you the way you look at it you could say to your friends i have to book for 4 anyway so not charge them for coming along or you got pay for 4 which you have to anyway and then spilt it between the two. The only problem you haver then is they tend to allocate you a double bed and then two singles in the other room as they assume your a family of 4 going. I am off to bournmouth next month with friends for the airshow and we booked Rockley park which aint far and the way we did it was booked for 4 and then spilt the cost to per person and per pass, The service charge i paid for myself as it was my booking and i aint that tight ha ha. The way i looked at it was the hoilday has cost myself no more than 50 quid for a whole weekend in Bourmouth for the airshow so i am happy. Hope you get the holiday you want. x
