I agree with the other posters.
I am sure that the £16 amount on their first bill is pro rata billling i.e. it is for 36 days rather than 30.
OP should be able to confirm this from the dates on their bill.
A normal monthly bill would be £13.34 plus VAT = £16.00.
A pro rata bill of 36 days would be £16.00 plus VAT = £19.20.
So just a coincidence that the figure equals £16.00 (the normal monthly tariff including VAT).0
