    Morning everyone.
Just waked pooch over nature reserve, lots of rain over night but sun is out now.
Got to brave Sainsbugs to get stuff to make DDs birthday cake, although given how she's behaving right at this minute she will be lucky to even get a birthday never mind a cake

Pizza for tea and the usual fire fighting for keeping house tidy.

FS hugs for you and your DD xxxxx

Morning, am now finally catching up on things as the exam season has finally ended. HH bet you are too. Luckily with working extra hours (as well as extra money!) I have had to be more organised, used SC more and had loads of NSDs as not been able to go shopping, so good all round. Weather has been completely mad here but at least we havent had flooding. My heart goes out to all those poor people that have been affected.
BB did smile when I saw your abbreviation. When I first moved down south I had a job which included sending out interview letters, I innocently asked where Soton was as had not heard of it!!!!! I now know and also where Pompey and Chi are!
    RR have a fab trip.
Tappers how exciting, I have always thought it must be nice to just jump in a camper van and go....
WM about to go on, DW done last night, tea tonight will be YS pizza from the freezer, its our weekend treat. Will menu plan from freezer for rest of the week.
    Thoughts to all.

    Morning :hello:

forever saving is it triggered by something or does it just happen? Must admit I don't know much about alopecia. Hope she's OK

Heston Blumenthal is in Gloucester atm, he's been making ice creams in town and today he's in the park making the world's biggest ice cream.

I've got dermatitas, probably caused by handwashing clothes so I've bought some rubber gloves. Hopefully it'll clear up quickly.

Mr tru has gone out :j I like saturdays to myself, I speed around cleaning and tidying then spend the afternoon watching my recorded programs.

We picked half a pound of berries from the garden yesterday, very nice they were too :D

The weather can't make it's mind up today - one minute it's sunny and the next it's raining. I have a couple of things to do in the garden so I'll try and time it right :D There's some clothes soaking in the sink and I need to sweep the stairs and kitchen. I cleaned the piggies out last night so I can have a day off from that job. Chickens have been cleaned out, the kitchen is sparkly and the bathroom just needs a wipe down. We've got loads of pictures which need hanging so I'll sort them out and decide what's going where.

    Morning all,

Not really sure what the weathers going to do today, it's blowing a hooley so one minute it's cloudy, the next bright blue skies.

DD1s prom went well, despite the utter breakdown after having her hair done as she didn't think she liked it (to be honest I think the hair was just a trigger for a very emotional day as she's not going to sixth form there but moving on to college so it was the last time she'd see most of her year) sorted the hair out, just needed to pin a few more bits up, and got her and her two best friends ready (both boys and they took longer faffing around than she did). They all went off from a friends house in a party bus with music blaring and had an amazing evening. One of her best friends asked her out (it's been on the cards for ages but he wanted to do it at prom as it would be romantic -bless him). So she's walking on cloud 9. Oh to be so young and easily pleased again!

OS wise, two loads of washing to do but they'll have to wait, I had a couple of glasses of fizz last night and ivegot a banging head this morning.

Dinner tonight will be a chicken stir fry and noodles and I might bake something is afternoon.

Fs all the best with your dd.
Trouble with a very good night is the next morning. Another party tonight and footie tomoz then very early start monday work  Plans for today - finish library book while soaking in bubble bath (still using bubbles from the great toiletries roundup after xmas as one of challenges on mse), l!dl, housework, maybe a nap then bbq if it keeps dry.
The scots have a wonderful word for the weather -dreich.good word but lousy for bbqs. Scottish game fair just been cancelled. I see on their website they call the weather 'extremely inclement'. Nah dreich is much better.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Delivery central here - dehumidifier for kitchen with wet wall. Radio for an extremely late Christmas present (darling uncle is lovely, but was really after spending more money on me, and I didn't want anything expensive). Prices Candles for teachers' end of year gift (through gritted teeth. They are great with the kids, rotten with the parents), black t-shirt for little bear from ebay (only place to get plain t-shirts) for some sort of drama thingy...

btw I do like Price's candles, and recommend them, but they are not easy to get hold of. I prefer them to Yankee candles. The candles for the teachers were £2.50 (plus VAT) instead of £10 (plus VAT) and with significant postage :( but still a decent bang for the buck.

Washing on, fingers crossed will dry on line. Little bear and OH out and darling father about to go out - I should be ironing. I suspect I will be doing anything but, as I am sick of it. The new iron is beginning to look very used. I am not sure where all the ironing is coming from.

    Fish for tea tonight.

    Hi all,

Looks like there were early mornings all round - we got woken by our bonkers cat yodeling at about 5 - I so hope our new boys don,t pick up that habit (get them next weekend)

RR - hope you have a fab time x

Taplady - have fun with the campervan - I have fond memories of holidays in a VW camper with my brother and dad

Jackie O - please share some of your moneysaving tips with me - my bank account seems to be emptying on auto pilot - I must get a grip...:o

FS - hugs for DD x

BB - I know exactly how your feeling hun xx

Hugs to all i,ve missed x

So please the proms went well, my DD ended up not going to hers, she had a massive lack of confidence moment and point blank refused..... !Seriously worried about her, taking her to Dr,s, I think it may be stress/depression, her behaviour is SO erratic, it can,t just be hormones.

Salt and pepper skys here, so will get the washing out and cross my fingers, then run around cleaning the house, OH at work all day, so can do it at my pace, dispersed with coffee and this weeks CDWM that i,ve recorded :)

Have a fab day all xx

DS3 is having a barbie ( the fire type not the doll lol )for birthday later in week so looks like I'm going to have to shop last minute although freezer is working it just smells funny and if anything is opened it makes the food taste strange. Don't really want to risk poisoning the family though.
    Washing out another load in.
Did take DD2 to horse last night and really enjoyed it watching the lovely lady who owns the horse showing us how to do some groundwork with pony.
