I feel like Im cursed.....Why cant a job just be right????

Hi all,
Im a right moody so and so at the minute.
This is whats happend..For the past 3 weeks Ive been job hunting like there is no tomorrow. Anyway after several interviews last week I got a job offer (you will know if you read my previous posts). However I had to turn it down as it was part time, too far and I would be about £180ish out of pocket.
Today I've been offered a job full time but 3 month contract (with a view to go permanent)....yesterday at the interview we discussed shift times start 8-9 and 10 am on a rolling rota..Sounded great..I explained my circumstance to the interviewer and advised I could only accept a job offer if it was on a full time/permanent basis.
Today I get call "Congratulation Miss x x you have been successful in your interview and we would like to offer you a position however we cannot offer you the permanent roll but are willing to offer you f/t on a 3 month contract (Great :peven though I was after the perm role) however your start times have now also changed and you will be on a earlies rolling rota with shifts mainly starting at 6am":mad::mad::eek:.
I have accepted the job as it seems like the perfect move for me with regards to my career, however I have 4 children 2 school age a toddler and a 6mo baby. My partner will be looking after the kids whilst Im working..But it is going to be a real struggle for him doing the school run etc as he will have to drop me off to work at 6am as he will need car for school run. Then he will have to sort out the baby and the toddler and get the other 2 ready for school I can do it and find it easy as a) Im a mum and b) Ive never had to do the school run as he always does it. Now I feel like Im yet again stuck in a flimsy situation.
Some of you may think Im being ungrateful and unfair...I know Im really lucky to have got a job at all suggesting Ive only really decided I need to go into work 3 weeks ago as OH was having little success with jobs after being made redundant last year.
I did explain in my interview ive got young children...now I am stuck as to what to do???
I really really want to go for it but on the downside Im not sure how OH is going to cope as Ive always dealt with the children. He is a great dad please don't get me wrong but Ive never really asked him to help me out with feeding/changing the kids etc he usually helps around the house (bless him).
Is there any way round this?? What would you advise if you was in a similar situation..Any advice greatly appreciated.

With the extra income could you afford a nanny?
Or why not do a practice run before you start. You get up and 'prepare' for work whilst OH sorts kids out. You can then help him with kids and show him how you do it etc giving him tips to help him out?
Or else could you get public transport/walk?0 -
If the OH is dropping you off fo a 6am start, where are the kids going to be? Surely they should be bed at that time as far too early to get children up?0

Hi,
Thanks for the reply unfortunately cant afford a nanny. I start on Tuesday so not sure if Ive got enough time for a trial run. I'd have to go into town to catch the bus I cant walk as its A roads and really its only a 5-8 min drive.0 -

Hi MissSarah,
Thats another one of my concerns:mad:. Im really confused.0 -
Sorry forgot to add I do start on Tuesday but I will be in training for 3 weeks 8-4 so thats ok. So technically speaking will have enough time for trial runs with dear dear OH.0

How long does it take you to get there? No public transport at that time?slickc2100 wrote: »Hi MissSarah,

Well you shouldn't be confused. I am sure the 1st thing on your mind is your children and depending on the distance you are probably going to have to get them all up at 5.30am! I do not think that's acceptable but that's just me.0 -
Oh ok if thats the case can you not get a cab? Maybe just as cheap instead of using the OH to drive you and all the children at that early hour?slickc2100 wrote: »Hi,

With the 6am starts could you not get a relative to stay overnight or take the kids to a relative? Then your husband could collect them for school at the appropriate time?0

Ah then I guess you have to decide is it going to work getting the children up so early and in a car.slickc2100 wrote: »Cab will cost me 7-8 pound a day
