Can i request a recent bank statement with my new address?

It won't be.
Any issued statement will have the address as at date of issue.

It's for my partner, it's all she can use, so hopefully they can send her something or atleast a weeks statement with the new address.

Last time I checked you can request a statement to be posted to you from HSBCs ATMs (Not the self serve machines), it's in the other menu if I recall correctly. This will generate a brand new statement with your new address on and just the transactions since your last one.
