Thanks Brizzle, feeling a bit better about things today :)

Today ended up being seriously expensive as Mr Minx realised, once we'd got to Wick, that he'd left his wallet at home, so I had to pay for absolutely everything today, including filling up his nearly empty diesel tank! He's paid me back already, bless him :D

I've been doing a bit of work this afternoon and now have an Etsy shop set up. Only 5 items listed in it so far, but I shall keep noodling away at it over the next couple of weeks and see how it does with 100 or so items listed in it.

Oooh Minx - what type of things are you selling? and can you PM me your Etsy name?

Not sure it's worth looking at yet! I'll PM you. I sell beads, findings and other jewellery-making bits and pieces.

It's been a quiet day. Mr Minx turned 46 today, so we have two nice steaks for supper (he had a rush of blood to the head this afternoon and decided we were going out to dinner instead, but when I rang the hotel they were fully booked, so steaks it is!).

20 barrowloads of manure done this week. I've now covered all the areas that poached over winter and needed a bit of help, so I'm thinking about turning the rest of the shelter area muck heap into bricks for the fire - my shoulder and back muscles would certainly thank me for it.

I just wanted to say that if you hadn't been on the ball with ur debts you would be far far worse of now than you are now and you've done brilliant!

45 orders shipped out today :D And good sales today means £220 in the PayPal account again already. Cash flow is a little bit tight; I have three invoices due to be paid on the 5th, 6th and 7th plus the quarterly broadband bill on the 8th, but as long as this rate of sales keeps up I'll be fine.

I got another 1p interest on the First Direct savings account as well - what am I going to do with all these riches?? :p

The farrier was here this morning to give the boys a trim and, bless him, refused to take the full £40, saying there wasn't that much for him to do and handing me back a tenner.

What else? I've got a few more items into the Etsy shop and will try to do a few more each day. No sign of the flatbacks yet, I guess they came Inverness - Thurso today and will be here tomorrow. I've also got a few sheets of labels on order to do labels for the bead boxes I'm going to put on Amazon.

£390 banked today in the end :D Slightly offset by a £100 order sent just over a week ago not reaching its destination yet and the lady is off on holiday on Thursday and needs it by then. Since she's a regular customer I've re-sent it Special Delivery today and if the original one turns up (oh please let it turn up!) then we'll sort out returning it or her paying for it then.

Still no delivery :( 4 days from China to Inverness, if it arrives tomorrow it'll have taken 5 days from Inverness to Thurso!!

I can't believe sales this week - another £230 banked today and £120 waiting in PayPal again already.

The delivery didn't turn up, so I rang DHL to find out which courier company they'd given it to. They gave me a name I didn't recognise and a contact number, so I Googled them before I rang and found that they don't cover this area....! I rang them, expecting the worst, but they're apparently going to deliver it tomorrow morning. Please excuse me for being a little skeptical....

I can't believe the amount of time your order is taking to get to you from Inverness.
I always thought DHL were quite good. I'll wait with baited breath for the answer tomorrow. ;)

I hope it turns up. :)
