Hi from North London☔️. Hope it went well.

*waves back from Moorgate* It did, thank you :)

Time for the long journey home now and unlike on the trip down, when I was finishing the spreadsheet job and worrying about yesterday, I can relax, chill, read, listen to podcasts and generally enjoy myself :) Train leaves King's Cross at midday and I should be home by about 10.30. See you all tomorrow!

    Just about!

Apologies for being AWOL, it's been a bit busy. Here are some scores on the doors:

    Business
    Barclaycard: £1,280.00 / -£1,210.00 +£70.00

    Personal
    Halifax card: -£4,700.00 / -£4,700.00 no change

    Grand total: -£5,980.00 / -£5,910.00 +£70.00

Not much change this week, but then I've hardly been here! Lots of typing done though, in fact I've still got an hour and a quarter of file to do by the end of tomorrow, so need to crack on with that tonight.

Also seriously considering buying a house. Not because I want to move, but because the only way I can get my hands on the 7-8-ish acre field next door but one is to buy the house and the other croft that are being sold with it. So the plan would be buy the whole lot, do up the house, sell or let the house with the fields attached to it and then build our dream home on the one next door but one and sell the one we're currently living in. Not complicated at all, especially when £23k of the guide price is valued on the croft land, so can't be taken into account when valuing for lending purposes....

Scrap the above; I had the home report emailed through to me this afternoon and the land under the house hasn't been decrofted, so it can't be mortgaged in any way, shape or form. Which at least explains why the house has been valued so low, although it has a few other issues as well (nothing that can't be sorted though, it's structurally fine). This hasn't put us off, as there are a couple of other ways we could possibly borrow the money temporarily while we got the decrofting application through, so we've emailed back to ask for a viewing :D

Laundry, ironing and vegetable garden weeding all done, spare bedroom mucked out in preparation for family visiting in a couple of weeks' time (two bags of bedding/cushions for the SSPCA, three bags for Cancer Research, half a bag of recycling and half a bag of rubbish - not bad!) and I have a 66-minute summary file from the agency for tomorrow. I did a 95-minute file for a former Elance client yesterday as well - decent pay rate and interesting financial subject matter, so I was a happy bunny :)

Don't know, he hasn't got back to me yet. I'll give him a ring tomorrow. It's one of those things that if it's meant to be, everything will work out okay :)

Got to my desk this morning to find some work from Mr RPC (who is supposed to be relaxing on holiday in Spain!), so cracked through that and then turned my attention to the 66 minute summary. 20 minutes into it, my email pinged with a 55 minute summary from the same place, so I replied to say I'd already been assigned work for today's shift only for them to ask me if I could do it, as it was going to be fairly quick to get through and it would really help them out and they could give me a later deadline. So that was the rest of the day taken care of!

Also got an 83 minute file from NEL to be done by the end of the week, so I shall start that tomorrow.

Love how much work you are getting through. Keep us posted re the possible new place.

What happened to the "horse over the fence", mare I believe? Were you babysitting her if I recall?

She went off on loan-with-view-to-buy about 60 miles away and was returned within six weeks. She's now in a field about 20 miles away near her owner's new boyfriend, so I haven't seen her since she got back other than the odd photo on Facebook, but she's looking well in those :)

2hr10minute summary today!! Fortunately the first 18 minutes was silence while the focus group did a task, so although I won't get paid for that bit, it gives me a fighting chance of getting it back to them on time...!
