Morning. Mr Minx is at work and I have to decide between a day slaughtering things in Final Fantasy XIII or trying to sort out my ailing business. Going to have to be the latter, much as I would love to switch off for the day.

The first job is to get the weekend's orders packed up - they won't actually be going anywhere, but at least they'll be done - then it's going to be some serious tidying up and repricing all day.

I might be bleary-eyed from the late night, but my proofreading invoice is up to £56.00 already after only two shifts. I'm wondering if I should keep buffering with the transcription money and allocate all the proofreading money to overpaying - seems like a good compromise of wanting to get both done ASAP!

Right, time to get on with it - all hands on deck on the good ship 'Crisis'!
  • Sounds like a plan. I hope the business picks up soon.

I'm catching up (depressing myself?) with the final two episodes of The Following.

After that, perhaps a bit of weeding and washing for the coming week.

Good news on the invoice, I'm sure it will get faster. Not so good news on working on a bank holiday. I hope business picks up. Do you sell through other channels than fleabay?

I can't remember the last time I actually had a bank holiday off - the joys of nearly 20 years in retail ;)

I've got my own website as well. I came off Amazon because it was actually costing me money to sell through them and I've just shut my Etsy shop today because I didn't have any sales at all last month.

All I can say is thank the gods for Mr Minx's well-paid job. I don't want to rely on him, but it's nice to know that there's a safety net underneath me.

Haven't got a clue. But it's a bit hard with how dark they keep the lighting - even when it's daytime. There's 'dark and gloomy' and 'bl00dy he'll, I can't see anything!'

I heard its been renewed for a third season.

The business has its own Facebook page, but I don't sell through it - again, it's quite hard to be visible as a business on Facebook now, the last time I put a status on the business page with a link on it, it didn't even show up on *my* news feed and I own the thing!

:rotfl: Very true! I'm still a bit confused about how the twins knew where Claire was - the only person who could have told them other than Ryan, Mike and Joe would be the journalist. If there's a connection there, I'm wondering if it was her in the car, since we've already seen the lengths she'll go to for a story. Yup, third season is apparently a go, but with Joe taking a back seat this time. Apparently they shot an alternative ending to the second series where Ryan did shoot him.

The Blacklist only has two more episodes to go as well, my Sky+ is going to be breathing a sigh of relief :p

Speaking of connections - I still keep thinking that Mike is going to be revealed as being a member of Joe's cult. Maybe not so much now, given what happened to his Dad, but I certainly kept expecting it for much of the first 1.5 seasons.

Every time I think I'm going to get a break with TV watching - of which I do far too much, another series starts. In a couple of weeks and the final episode of 'House' will be over. That's two episodes a night, five nights a week.

All my own fault. At least if I'm watching telly, I'm not out spending money.
