New Tesco mobile - when do the free texts kick in?
Bought a new Tesco PAYG mobile and got it on the triple credit tarrif.
There's an offer just now where you get 5000 free texts if you top up by £15. It's supposed to be automatic if your phone was registered after 1st May 2012, which this one was.
I topped up by £15 as soon as the phone was up and running and got a text to say the extra free credit had been applied but no mention of the free texts. Texts are being charged for right now.
When are the free texts supposed to kick in?

I found this on their website
If you activated on or after 1st May 2012 and you’re already on the Triple Credit tariff, you’re already opted in. If you’re not on the Triple Credit tariff you’ll need to call 282 free from your Tesco Mobile phone to opt in.
Maybe you're not opted in and just need to give them a ring 0
