Tyre pressure, oil check, re-fill windscreen wash, check anti-freeze. Or you can do as my cousin did and not do anything, big end went when it ran out of oil. According to her it was the car salesmens fault for not telling her it needed oil to run.Person_one wrote: »Hang on...there are things you need to do to a car each week? :eek:0 -
Hands up, I haven't done the first bit. I will have to do that with my kids. Thank you, I hadn't thought of it.I'm not sure if it's alrady been mentioned but have we put in the personal bits?
Girls checking their breasts, boys testicles. Smear tests, STD tests before unprotected sex, also the benefits of exercise and the need for contraception.
Life is short, smile while you still have teeth

Nor me, yet, the eldest is probably almost at the right age for me to find a way of talking about it. Thanks, a very good one.0 -

OMG its just done NATURALLY FGS, NOT IN FORCED LESSON FORM. do you actually understand that? I just wanted ideas that i might not have thought of, that could also be introduced NATURALLY NOT IN FORCED LESSON FORM. How many more times do I have to say it?
As for me being confrontational, you are being very judgemental. Does it make you feel better about yourself?
Hang on a minute, I nearly let you get away with this one!
How do you teach audio typing and shorthand 'naturally' and not in lesson form?0 -

They asked about it, they know what I do for a living and they asked me to show them what I do. So I did, and then I asked them if they wanted to learn, I said they didn't have to, my eldest said she did (and she uses the shorthand to take notes in class - then she touch types them up as revision
) So, yes I did give lessons in that instance, so shoot me
You are a very literal person aren't you? You have made it more than clear you think this thread is pointless, why are you still reading it? 0 -

I don't think its a pointless thread, there have been a lot of good posts, I just think your approach in particular is a bit over-prescribed and that you're way overthinking it, especially as one of the kids is only three!
The person who starts the thread doesn't own it, no matter how many times they wish death on the people who disagree with them.
