Dion STB1AW11 freeview box Tesco faulty

Not found any thing about this box on line so decided to tell about on here. I got for £15 the other week from Tesco. very good box , except it totally freezes even remote don't work .if you unplug it , it will work for while then freeze again. I took it back to Tesco , and was told they sold hundreds and most came back same fault , and maybe not compatable ! was given full refund .
Now to find another one of different make that is ok ..any idea's ? Please

Buying electronic equipment from a supermarket is seldom a good idea and £15 is way too cheap. You won't even get a mobile phone for that, and a phone is a lot less complex.

A mobile phone is less complex than a Freeview box...............are you having a laugh?
If you want a decent freeview box buy Humax.

What makes you think that? A simple mobile phone has only a few physical components including battery - making it dirt cheap to manufacture. A freeview box is larger, has a mains power supply, tuner and several chips on board. The job it does with video and audio is more complex than a simple phone which deals only with audio plus a simple text display.

So would you expect a £15 Freeview receiver to be reliable? I wouldn't.

No I wouldn't which is why I suggested buying something half decent.
I was thinking more of smart phones in terms of complexity.
