Mac Code

Hi is there any way to get your mac code if your isp is stalling in giving it to you, ie i was promised mac code by e-mail over a week ago still no code

any help

No, the only people who can issue your migration code is the ISP who has the service on your line.

If you've not recieved any email from the first initial request, then call them back & get the matter escalated to a manager at orange

wasnt there a new rule out that they HAD to give it you within a specific time. cant remember how long they have (5 days??). came out feb 14 i think

thats right moonie, there was a rule re giving customers their MAC code

yes it is 5 days so they are in breach of the new rules - get onto them!

Providers must provide two or more methods of contact for MAC requests as follows.
(a) email, (b) telephone number, (c) postal address.

MAC code must be provided in writing within 5 working days of request unless MAC given by telephone.

I have heard if you're persistent you can get it fairly quickly over the phone.
