Got up at 4.15 and managed to get LOADS for my holiday, spent £190 but got an entire summer wardrobe which i would have ended up paying full price for last week :-)

I resisted even going in! lol but there was only 3 people in ours at about 9:30ish.. Thats either cause its full of rubbish or too many people are working lol

I was not going to buy anything from RI unless I had a wristband because I still find it too expensive this year.

Rolled up at the store at 6am... City Centre was desolate haha.
People really only started trickling in an hour later.
By the time it opened at 8am, the wristbands fast fell short of the queue.

Still, worth two hours wait because I paid £45 for 3 pairs of jeans, a playsuit and a purse which would have cost me £90 in the sale today otherwise (that I couldn't afford) and £190 normally!

My boyfriend found the men's clothes rubbish so I got to use his wristband too and he kept pointing out poor quality to me (I was blinded by prices and crowd surges lol.)

I have to say now I do think RI quality in clothing materials have gone down compared to last year so it's definitely worth being selective.

The handbags were all snapped up within two minutes and the shoe range in my size was very limited (size 3 - always is!)

I didn't bother going for the wristbands and I'm glad I didn't because apparently there 30 people in the queue by 7.30 and quite a few people missed out on getting one. Spent over £100 today, don't wanna think about how much I could have saved haha.

I pickup a dress, looked nice but polyester so put it back. Stuck with bags and shoes. Agree with others over priced and poor quality.

went in chelmsford at 8am, got 4 bits not that much nice stuff out...go in at 2 on my lunch and soooo many more bags and shoes that weren't out in the morning that were much nicer

so they limited what the wristbands could be used on as it seems most stores added stock later... (!)

I turned up at 8.30am to a packed shop! all wrist bands gone! (( still got a few bits though. When I popped back on my lunch the staff were filling up shoes, so maybe they did hold back some bits.

Sounds like they put the good stuff out later on purpose. I didnt both going this year but last year i went it was really good , was able to pick 10 items with wristband
