I have an answer to this I sent them an email on the 15th of June as I knew the sale was coming up.

Thank you for your recent email. At the moment there are no plans to offer this promotion again in the near future but this is not to see that it could happen again at some point.

Spoke to an assistant in River island yesterday & she said they had just received a letter to say the sale is in store on Tuesday 3rd July , but didnt know about the online sale

That's not the proper online sale on at the moment, they are offers that have been on for weeks. This is a big sale that's coming up. Stuff at my local store is already shadowmarked ready for sale, lots in- I was picking out what I want yesterday! The online sale normally starts a day before the instore, it's generally Wednesday online, Thursday in store, obviously don't know for sure if it's the same this year.
