Cheapest contracts - discuss? Any better ones out there?
Being a poor student I am looking for the cheapest contract (or rolling contract) available.
I am currently with T Mobile paying £5.87 per month which gets me unlimited texts and 300 minutes per month.
When I started this contract it was £5 per month and they seem to keep upping the monthly charge, which is irritating as I agreed to £5.
Anyway, just wondered whether anyone knew of any better deals out there?
- I don't necessarily need unlimited texts, but a fairly high text allowance would be good
- 300 minutes is reasonable. I wouldn't mind more minutes, but I'd rather survive on fewer minutes and have a lower bill
- I don't currently need data, but am considering buying a smartphone.
Thoughts?

How does zero sound? Ovivo Mobile 200 minutes, 200 texts, 500Mb of data. I think your deal is pretty good it's cheaper than most of the best deals. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/several-cheap-cheerful-sim-only-deals-giving-mins-txts-data-various-suppliers-1110944:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Hmm interesting, I will look into Ovivo. It sounds like a network from a few years ago, Blyk which was free and funding by advertising.0
