I have an Acer Liquid Metal with a broken screen. I would like to sell it for spares or repair, but as the screen doesn't work at all I am not sure how to do a factory reset. Is it possible to plug it into a PC and reset it like that? I would like to delete all personal data before selling.

With the phone turned off, press and hold both VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN + POWER ON for 3-5 sec.
To hard reset Acer S120 Liquid metal Press Volume UP, THEN CAMERA KEY. FOR CANCEL press Volume DOWN, then Camera key.

Should work even though you can't see what's happening on screen. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Thanks very much for that. I guess I won't know if it has worked, but I will assume it has.0

Does that work for by passing a screen lock on a stolen phone ...
Lets hope not ..heh0 -
Yep. If you factory reset, then the lock screen security is gone.0
