Window lock keys missing on completion

You paid the solicitor to do the conveyancing and they have done all they can by writing to the seller's solicitors. You would have to instruct them separately if you wanted to pursue it through the courts; but they would likely refuse due to the disproportionate costs.0

I had a similar problem where keys were not included. My solicitor wasn't very helpful and I ended up calling the estate agent and saying that I would bill them for changing all the locks!
They did some running around and got hold of some of the missing keys, but never gave me the window keys. I had to borrow my neighbours window key to get some more.
There was no point in pushing it further- it only cost a few quid for the window keys. Very frustrating, but I thanked my lucky stars that it was a little problem and not something much bigger!1
