Oddly enough its a red one, which I can't see on their website, although I did apply via the website. It has 13 months interest free balance transfers.

Low and behold, over the next week, 6 different new credit cards drop through the door.

You should open up 6 tabs on your PC, go into 6 different websites and buy 6 really expensive things, one on each card, at the same time and really screw up the system!

(Actually, that's probably pretty poor advice that you'd best ignore :) )

Just thought I'd point out as well that one single CCJ will TOTALLY stop any chance of getting ANY credit for 6 years. A default or two, well that fades within 12-24 months and doesn't have so much effect. A CCJ will mean NO CREDIT AT ALL WHATSOEVER until it drops off of your file!

I learned this the hard way!

CCJ does not mean you can not get any credit at all. Rubbish.

This is completely true. CCJ doesn't mean you cannot obtain a CC.

No, I managed to get a Vanquis card whilst I had a CCJ.

But put it this way, when you have a CCJ there are very very little options available to you.

But to be fair why would you be trying to get credit with an outstanding CCJ - ok once its paid but not when its not been paid.

It was merely an observation which I'm passing on.

Which Creation card did you apply for?
Was it the purple one or one of the newer ones, green or silver.

I was going to apply the other day for their balance transfer card (purple one), but checked a couple of days ago and saw they no longer do that 16 month 0% balance transfer card. Instead the only Creation cards on offer are a purchase card (green) and a cashback card (silver) which both offer only 6 months on balance transfers :(

Flybe card is still there for 12 months BT,Red creation card vanished as quickly as it appeared.

OP,keep oldest card and 2 or 3 with lowest apr and/or best BT deal
