Fresh from Carphone Warehouse? Terrible.
A 15 pence charge to check your balance.
What is really terrible is that this is not written ANYWHERE. Not in the booklet in which the SIM is included nor in their Terms & Conditions or within the stated Tariff charges.
A call to their Customer Services(probably at 15 pence per minute) confirms that this information isn't published anywhere, by themselves.
15 pence to listen to an automated message?
No wonder that they don't want to publish it.
Their representative had the audacity to suggest that I should have called them to check the cost.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Waiting for a Manager to call back within 24 hours. Not holding my breath.
