Using Virgin sim in iPhone
Options
Just looking for some advice.
stepdad recently gave my mother his old iPhone 3gs (Was locked to o2 but he rang and they said it would be unlocked shortly). To cut a long story short they rang him today and said it should be unlocked by now and ready to use.
My mother has the old blackberry curve. On contract from Virgin. I have put her sim in and activated the phone but it still says on iTunes that the sim is not the right sim for this phone, which makes me think o2 still have not unlocked it yet.
I have tried and tried tonight updated the settings as much as i can and it still will not take this sim card just keeps saying no service!
Anybody any ideas?! - I read on a forum that the sim that comes with the blackberry could be 2g only which would make it not work - could this be correct... Im thinkin maybe get my mother to phone virgin tomorrow to try to sort it out.
Any advice is much appreciated - Cheers.
