Hello all hope all is well?

Just catching up after a few days in bed :o so no money making here, other than Ebay that ended but I need to work out postage fees etc then I will update :)

Dont think I'm going to get any work done unless I suddenly feel better, although might have a go nearer weekend x
  • I have been reading through all your posts today as I am really going to have to tighten my belt due to a change in personal circumstances.

I was hoping for some top tips, and I certainly have some now - and love hearing about everyone's progress, and support of one another.

Do you have room for one more member? :hello::hello::hello:

    Nothing to add at all:o.
Surveys are few and far between at the mo.
Have 5 things on e-bay,all selling but not due to finish until Sunday.
Must try and have a good listing day tomorrow.
Had a voucher from T*sco today,£13 off a £90 spend. I'm so tempted to stock up on tinned/packet stuff, toilet rolls etc. Thinking that this could be a money saver in the end. Anybody else think this,or am I just odd?

Aren't you better finding a new customer code and spending £50 on your 'first' online shop and getting £10 off? :D

Thanks Nat .I did think of that, but it is a fairly small area and I usually get the same driver,so a bit worried about getting caught out:eek:.
Get a delivery nearly every month so it will just be like getting a double order. Also have quite a few extra points coupons...... Not sure what to do. Will go and see if they have any good special offers.

I have the same driver too, he hands me the new customer booket and laughs! Wouldn't worry, just don't use your club card. The money off outweighs the points your receive.

Hehe, I have the same with a Tesco driver - he always says "Now, Madam, as it's your first order..." then says something random about Tesco delivery! :D

£2 to report today from a Facebook sale. Giving quite a bit away on there or Freecycle too the last couple of days, mostly stuff that's not even had a sniff of interest at 50p on the selling sites etc, and I WANT IT ALL GONE! :D
Decluttered a huge box that's been just sitting in the corner since we moved 6 months ago, that other than when we are looking for something that might be in there so have a rummage through, has been practically untouched since, but as it's just always been there it'd basically become part of the furniture and we hardly even noticed it was there any more.
But now it's gone, forever! (OK, it has left traces behind in the form of 2 piles, but they are medium sized piles - one is 'Paperwork etc to be filed' and the other is 'I really don't know but please don't throw away'. First time in my life that the 'I don't know' pile has been the smallest :j

Not checked my bank yet but I've got a little overtime to add and hopefully bingo referrals have come through.

I was just wondering if it is better to sell to CEX online via webuy.com or in store? Do the prices vary? We've had a new store open (and I managed to buy School Tycoon for £1 yay) and I've got a handful of things I might sell to them. Just trying to get the most £££.

  • I am an eBay virgin no more!

Thanks to this thread I've leapt into eBay land and have sold two things which are on their way to their new owners. I've also got one more thing listed which is doing really well. Better than gathering dust in my house.

It's really not as hard as I thought it would be!
