  • Had a rather marvelous payment from tax credits today as a result of providing last year's pay figures. They were WAY less than the previous year due to DH's accident and him being sick most of the year. We now don't qualify for working tax as he can't work since the accident, so this was an unexpected surprise (and a biggie :j).

Would you add it to this challenge?? Xx
    Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

  • Hi all, well been a little behind on my goal for £10.00 a day been feeling a little sorry for myself and only managed to do 4 hours overtime with my job and a pinecone survey =3.00 all together this month £16.68

Last night i decided i needed to make some serious money to pay off my upcoming Homebase bill.... phoned a company i used to work for doing Promo work and suprised they were still running. The girl who was in the office remembered me from 6 years ago! said i didn't have the body to be in shorts and bikini's after two children (even though i am still very petite at a 5'2 frame and size 8) :p long story short they had a girl pull out of doing exit surveys at three locations and working in a well known supermarket giving out samplers.... with all the jobs now booked i can say that i can add at least £227.00 even though i wont get paid until the end of august!!! :T :rotfl: :j

    So now 243.18/300 = £56.82 to go.
No money making next week as i will be on holibobs but looking hopeful as i still have 10 days in total to make this.... Hoping for a few more surveys and to get my Swagbucks up to an amount i can claim vouchers on!

At first i thought this to be an impossible challenge.... now realizing anything is possible if you put your mind to it!!
    1% challenge £2015.50 = £20.16
    Make £2.50 a day £80.82/77.50
Sealed pot opening Nov 2018: ???
Going back to being to basics. And penny pinching in 2018 This will be my year 😘

My students have just left at this ungodly hour, one didn't even say goodbye, just rushed out to the car and jumped in. Little !!!!! Hate that, I've done everything for him and that's how he behaves, glad their gone. Still got my long timer but also have a new 'batch' arriving on Sunday afternoon meaning I can do a car boot in the morning :D now I'm off to sleep for a few hours, gotta be up at 7 for the school run.

£45 to add - £30 bingo referrals and £15 overtime.

Watching eBay so closely. I've got 123 items listed and only 6 items with bids on! Come onnnnnn.

Just been asked to come in to work tomorrow to make some phone calls so hoping I can rack up some hours there.

  • Well the eyebrow threading has started to prove more promising, got another three appointments after posting on a Facebook selling page close to me. Just hoping they dont cancel on me at the last minute like a lot seem to do.

Also I have been trying to sell a mother of pearl silver earing and necklace set which is work around
£80 but had no luck at pawn shop - they would only give me £3 for the weight of the silver! Tried facebook selling page but not had any look. Does anyone have any suggestions pls? Bit reluctant to sell on ebay as never sold jewellery on there and i wouldnt want it to sell for less than £60 at a minimum.

Just did a massive stint on SBs and claimed £10 Paypal. Feeling really motivated...but I've got lots of plans for the weekend now. I want to do a bootsale but work has been insanely busy these past few weeks and I've burst into tears from exhaustion numerous times this week...so I don't think a bootsale, followed by a charity meeting followed by the gym is my best idea.

    Hello,

it's been ages since i've been on this site and i did this challenge last year with some success! After falling off the band-wagon, i've got my debt-busting mojo back, so here i am :).

My aim is to earn £5 extra per day. As my current job no longer offers overtime, i'll be doing the old mystery shopping. I haven't done it for a longtime, but have a few jobs lined up for next week.

With any luck i'll be starting a 2nd job soon, so hope to earn a few pennies from that too :).

Woo! Congrats on getting your mojo back! If you don't mind my asking, what kind of work do you/would you do as a second job?

Lots of surveys today : )
