Oh Nat, big hugs to you.

This won't help in the least but have a friend who is having huge problems too, and she is the nicest person in the world.

Think of it as bad karma working itself out of your life to make room for the good karma.

This boy is very spoilt and his parents have made a rod for their own back.

    Your poor DD.

    Hugs Nat xxx

Nat21luv don't give up. Summon up a little bit more fight and explain to the teacher the health hazard this student caused your toddler. In fact I would get in there first and get a letter to the school detailing his behaviour and his disregard for your home. Im sure they will see your side of things.

Dont allow this student to end this source of income.

    Good luck

    I've been Money Tipped!
Aww Nat, i echo what others are saying. Don't let this get you down. That student sounded like a nightmare the other day and as for making him clean the toilet i would probably have done the same. After all, you had your daughter to clean. Big hugs honey and thinking of you. Your a lovely kind natured person and deserve some happiness.

As for money making.... £4 off at Tesco. Bringing my total up to £7. I'd better get my thinking cap on!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone :)

Thanks for that guys. Barely slept for thinking about it. His teacher picked him up this morning and completely ignored me. His mother then rang(awkward!) and said she and her husband were crying but they are happy with me as his host family!! His teacher is trying to persuade them to change family's but they want to stick it out with me. Does this mean it won't get escalated?! :D

I unblock the toilet and make him clean it. He rings his mother and teacher who call me and say how disgraceful I have been to make a child clean a toilet, I have damaged his honour! :(

Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time with this boy. I believe you said he was from Turkey? If so then in their culture or any muslim culture (from my experience) it is considered very shameful to clean toilets or do any kind of 'womens work' I also believe they have little respect for women in general. I think boys tend to get a way with things more than girls do. My father was from India (hindu not muslim) and I mixed quite a lot amongst Indian families. I noticed how the boys had much more freedom and seemed to be 'wilder' , whilst the girls were expected to do household chores and had a very limited social life.

I know this is no excuse for the boy's behaviour but I thought it might help you understand, its just a pity the teacher doesn't too. Its seems in our society and especially within the social services, the rights of the child is paramount with no thought given to the rights of the adult. There must be some sensible people left who can see things from your point of view. It sounds as though his parents are happy with the discipline you are giving him. It is only in this country we tend to be soft on it, believe me in his country discipline would be much greater, he would probably have been given a beating or a whipping.

I hope not, but to be honest if it does I wouldn't worry too much, you did nothing wrong!
I find it odd that they flip out at you then say they are happy with you... I would stay well away (if possible!) .. Perhaps send them a bill for a plumber to fix the loo? ;) (find a friendly plumber to mock one up as though I was broken... )
