Bad day on eBay!

Anyone else?
A buyer has returned an unwanted item. They live in the Channel Islands so I assume that the 'Customs Charge To Pay' card through the door with £14 to pay is for this parcel.
And I've just had a neutral for holes in an item without any contact (business seller so I do accept returns for any reason AND I message each buyer this to tell them, once I despatch) and I didn't see any holes before sending? Obviously not that bothered about the holes otherwise they would have contacted me?
Hope they haven't bashed my stars! I've just stocked up on a loss leader which will shift quickly, just in case.
Having a bad week at work, which doesn't help. Feels like the world is out to get me at the moment!

I think I've bumped into an experienced scammer on the most expensive item I sell.
Keeping my fingers crossed but have a sinking feeling. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4035505

I immediately sent a message apologising for missing the holes and offering her a refund. She has replied saying 'not to worry, I have sent it to the charity shop now' - I don't understand why she has done that - the item wasn't cheap at £36! Surely anyone in their right mind would return for a refund?0

Gleeful that doesn't sound right at all
£36 isn't a huge amount in the grand scheme of things, but I imagine it's quite a lot for an item of clothing on eBay, as most people are looking for a bargain. Very odd. I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

I know. I don't get it at all.....I know I would certainly contact the seller for a refund if it was me. I checked the item before sending and there were no holes in it so I am not sure where this has come from. I bet she has hammered my stars

She might have been fishing for some money back possibly. No harm in trying it on as far as some people are concerned.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

You should be able to get the feedback withdrawn if you have a valid case. I'll assume you've an ebay account manager so they should be able to help.Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

I am a silver powerseller but I don't think I have an account manager.
I don't think it's a valid case for feedback withdrawal, unfortunately.0 -
GREAT - now an INR through Paypal for an item posted on Tuesday....! I didn't even think it was possible to open one with that amount of time.0

I know how you feel - I'll go months without a single problem, then wham! three or four in a week. Just seems to be the way it goes.0

I feel your pain. Just got home from holiday to find a rather aggressive email about a £40 item not having arrived in Australia- and a PayPal dialogue (not full claim as yet).
Its been a month so I have just refunded but I did respond to the email mentioning that the email seemed rather aggressive and I was surprised as there is nothing in my feedback to suggest I don't refund or am a difficult seller.
A bit cross as I had not originally listed this outside Europe but buyer told me she really wanted it and as her feedback suggested a collector of similar things I allowed her to bid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
