I use virgin for Broadband : £15 per month

18185, daytime & mobiles : £13 per month

Primus, evening & weekends : approx £2 per month
=
= £30 per month +

BT line rental £11 per month

TV is with Freeview.

Would I be better off with virgin media?

i've just changed over to virgin media this morning from BT. I'm getting

2mb broadband and free Evening & Wkends to UK Landlines for around £22, that includes BT line rental and you get free cable tv with it.

free cable is basically same as freeview but it has On Demand service where you can pay for films and concerts etc.

Im currenly paying around 40quid a month with BT for broadband and phone and pretty much halved it with virgin.

You say that price includes line rental! How come I am paying £15 to virgin for 2mb + line rent to BT, think I had better contact them! What are you paying for daytime calls and mobiles?

think the daytime calls are 3p a min, not sure. only changed this morning. haven't had it installed yet
