sky tv - good deal??

I was paying 62.50 a month for all the channels + HD, yesterday i phoned them up to cancel - they offered me 17.25 to pay a month for the same channels for 6 months and still no contract so i can cancel at any time, also the advisor says if i call back at the end of the 6 months, they will see what deals they can do for me.
So, if your outside of your contract i would say it is definitely worth going to the 'thinking of leaving sky' option online or by phone

I rang yesterday and got offered ditch the movie channels and the entertainment pack and pay £20.50 a month ! Told them no thank you for £20.50 for a basic pack i rather just have no sky! So told them to put my cancellation through0
