I have just checked out the T&CS of Fast4 which are not really very good.(ie you can only cancell by using the button etc)I remember the V21 button dissapering!
And i only need Dial up untill the end of the year when i hope to get Broadband.
The only one i can find is Madasafish. at £13.99.

I am also a soon to be V21 dial up refugee. I have just cancelled my direct debit but am still able to use the service until it finally dies.
I have looked at the other offers around and the Tiscali Daytime deal looks good. This gives you unlimited coverage between the hours of 8am and 6pm, 7 days a week, for £7.99. If you use it outside of those hours, you will be charged 1p a minute. You can pay by direct debit, credit card or debit card. I also don't like the idea of paying with a credit card for an ISP because of the difficulty in cancelling if things go wrong.
I also use Onetel, as the previous member mentioned, but only as PAYG at present. The direct debit system with them has always worked well. Like you, I will be moving to broadband eventually. Zen seems to be the highest regarded with BT, not as cheap as others, but pretty reliable.0 -

No trouble at all.
I was with them for three years before Biscit ruined things and never had any problems with payments.
I originally paid by debit card but after about a year changed to DD.
In fact Fast4 encourage you to change to DD,unlike Biscit who couldn`t bill their *rse!0 -
I have had nothing but trouble with this company.
After I cancelled my subscription I discovered that fast4 had taken another payment from my card.
I rang and complained. They assured me the account would be closed and my 2 payments refunded
When neither happened I called again. I was told that "accidently" i had been debited 2 payments - so they now owed me 4 months money. And the account was still active !
Again I was assured the account would be closed Immediately and the 4 payments refunded.
To date neither has happened.
BEWARE giving this company your card details, or you may have your card abused, like me.0
