cant decide on bb

Options
hi all
i am looking for a new deal on my broadband/phone line
at current we have: bt broadband option 1 and line (free eve and weekends which we dont use) - £110 a quarter; AND use
acn for the calls which is free landline, eve calls and international totaling up to £30 a month so on avg a month we spend around £66
we call alot of mobiles, and i dont tend to go over my 10gb of downloads a month, we have never changed our broadband and not had any problems with connection/customer services etc but of course its all a bit much financially now..........
bt are willing to offer what they offer their online customers - £13 a month and the line rental of 10.75,
also talk talk essentials offer -a bit scared due to there customer service rating!
also post office home phone and unlimited bb of £26.70 a month which is line rental free eve and weekend landline and free mobiles at weekends and 40 international landlines.
sighssssssss
any feedback help and/or suggestions would be much appreciated as my eyes are soo tired looking!!!!
thanks in advance

    Hey Vanessa :)

I switched my grandparents to TalkTalk essentials over a year ago now, as they were with BT and paying £70 per quarter just for phone calls, and now they pay around £13 a month for calls and broadband - they only use the phone as I'm the broadband user.

The switch from BT to TT was smooth, kept their number and the broadband was fairly easy to set up - letters came in the post to keep them informed of what was happening and when.

I too was put off by TalkTalk's poor customer service rating, but at the end of the day you'll only need customer service if something goes wrong as you can manage your account and everything else online.

Since moving them to TalkTalk they've had one issue in that they had a fault with their phone line but this was fixed pretty quickly as there's an automated service which tests your line and will book alert an engineer if need be.
One other thing to point out is that TalkTalk's wireless router doesn't emit a very strong signal, so you may be better off purchasing a wireless router from a shop.

Overall, for £13 odd a month, this no frills calls and broadband package is perfectly fine in my eyes.

What are your other LLU options than TT?
Do an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com
If you can put up with BT's level of service then I doubt that you'll find TT much worse...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
