cheapest PAYG deal for texting?

I have an unlocked mobile and use it mostly for texting. I would like to get the cheapest deal for this (I think 4p per text is available?), though I do use the phone occasionally (for calling other UK mobiles), so it would be good to factor this in.

How many texts do you send in a month? Giffgaff do a £5 a month goodybag which gives unlimited texts for the month.

Not that many. Even at Vodafone's much higher PAYG rates, I haven't spent £5 in a month too often. Does the giffgaff deal include any calls?

Only free giffgaff to giffgaff calls. Instead of the £5 Goodybag, they do a £5 Hokey Cokey which gives 300 texts, 60 minutes of calls, free giffgaff to giffgaff calls and texts plus a free extra minute of calls for every minute you get called (from a non giffgaff number).
