iPhone 3GS Vs HTC Desire S

Hi All,

i just returned from a business trip to find that i've misplaced my phone which is a HTC Desire S.

Thankfully my bank provide me with phone insurance so they will send me either a new or refurbished phone of similar spec (generally the same phone).

Ever since getting my phone i've not really liked it that much. not sure if it's the android OS or just the phone itself and i was thinking that this may be an opportunity to ebay the phone i receive and buy an iPhone 3GS. (Can't afford any of the 4 series phone) and was wondering what major difference i would see.

I've had a look at the spec and as far as i can see, the main difference is the processor, where the iphone is 0.6 and the desire is 1.1.... is this a massive difference?

Essentially i'm hoping that i'll not buy an severely outdated phone that is sluggish to run the new iOS software

Are you talking abuot buying a 2nd hand 3GS off ebay?

have you tried the 3GS to make sure you like it? Remember its getting fairly old now so you might be better trying out newer android phones too.

Play with the gs in a shop to make sure you are happy.
You might be able to pick up iPhone 4 on eBay for good price.
You can still upgrade gs to new iOS.

If you do go for Android os, check to make sure it's using the current version. May are still on few year old os.

Just because you are Android fanboy do not mean everyone need to be one.
