A fiver plus being tied in for 12 months though. I'm on a monthly contract at the moment.
Because of my location and the probability there will be no increase in speeds and the connection might become unstable I don't think it's worth it?
There's no way I want to commit for 12 months on possibilities.:)

Then buy your own router, a tenner at most.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

No, why should I have to, for what will probably be no improvement on my existing speeds or connection? I know it might be just a tenner but this is a "money saving site"?:) And I'm tight.:p
