Good afternoon folks,
No NSD for me today, due to the joy of direct debits, although I also got my hair cut! I also bought some RAM memory for my pc of fleabay, which may mean I don't have to change my pc, although I have saved quite a bit towards it if I do. I'm off this week, so will just take it easy on the spending if possible. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

I haven't been shopping, but had dds today and tomorrow need to buy some groceries,so that's it for the month.
I really want to keep my spending down next month and am feeling very motivated.:D
I sorted out my budget in June, because I didn't have a budget for toiletries, clothes and shoes, the kitty, household, haircuts and a few other things.I just took what I needed from my weekly budget or what was left in my account when possible. Now I have seperate pots for everything. It's all together in a seperate account and I keep track of it in a wee jotter.I even have a 'day out' fund now. So,at last I feel that I've got everything covered.
Oh dear,I really hope it's not bad luck saying that!0 -

Evening everyone. HOW is it nearly Aug already? only one more month until I start thinking about things autumny and the run up to xmas :eek::eek:
Back in the office today, been totally manic and no idea where the day went - though my boss said we did achieve a lot today so I don't feel quite so badBack at boot camp too, could feel like I'd had a week off but homefully tomorrow will be easier - although I know what I'm like, because I've had a break I want to push myself harder to make up for it...obsessive and every so slightly competitive - moi? (though oddly, growing up I'd never had said I was, but then I am also a total perfectionsit so I guess when it comes to physical activity that turns into competitiveness?)
Anyway, bad news is I'm still working, good news is that I've got NSD #13 :j
Oh, and pud is now released from being grounded and seems to be walking on her leg just fine. Will still keep an eye in case it was a bite (our prev kit got bitten in the face by a dog once and got a nasty absess) but fingers crossed she just pulled / twisted it.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Indeed, but at least looking on the positive side - the fridge is a warranty repair, the car should now be fine for years (apart from servicing) and still quite a few opportunities job wise.
I'm absolutely refusing to allow this year to be a negative year whatever happens (the last 2 were really bad!).
On the plus side, 2 more NSDs to report taking the total to 26:j:j:j
Might be a bit more difficult next month as really hammering the budget down from August."Whether you think you can, or you think you can't -- you're right" - Henry Ford0 -
Didn't get one yesterday - bought cigs, bread, some sweets and lent my neighbour £10
Most probably won't get one today either - I have an important meeting that I'll probably have to buy a bus ticket for.
