Evening all. Well I'm back if slightly jet lagged. Was awake for 23 1/2 hours by the time I got home yesterday so ignored all advise about jet lag and slept for 4hrs, got up, went to bed after the Olympic Ceremony and Road Wars and still slept til 11.30 am today  Had a bit of a lazy day so far, still need to empty case, but have mowed the meadow that was charading as our front lawn so at least that looks better.

So, I'm trying to work out my tally of NSD, I believe I posted 9 on Monday so -
    • Tues = #10
    • Wed = Not a NSD as we went to a different mall for dinner in a restaurant with massive aquariums and 'unfortunately' the stores were still open so purchased some new undies incl a bra (already had one from a prev visit but typically they don't have this store in the UK) and a jumper. Had a $44 gift card so total spend was just over $20 (long story about how I came to have the GC)
    • Thurs = NSD #11
    • Fri = OH made my buy beer last night - darn him
    • Sat = NSD #12 Yeah! Target met! That was a suprise, I thought I still had a few more to go :D
Tomorrow I need to head out to the shops to take back some trainers (when I ordered my converse, I got two sizes and I'm nearly at my 28 day rtn policy) I can't promise I'll be good as the sales are still on but after that it's back on the wagon for me as I have been very naughty spending and have only just been paid.

Spoony, was it you who asked what else I purchased? Quick rundown

Store 1 -> bootcut jeans to wear with flats (in dire need of some), grey going out type t-shirt top with a tiger on the front and sheer tiger print on the back, bracelet - total $160

Store 2 (my fav store) -> skinny jeans (pretty much like a pair I already have but hard to get in the UK and they charge the £ price as the same as the $ price here), couple of t-shirts and a pair of shorts. totl $159 :eek:

Store 3 (sub brand of store 2) -> cardi (well reduced) and a stripy top. Plus t-shirt for OH. However, paid for this with some $ I already had.

Also picked up some t-shirts for a friend of mine so totals not quite as bad as they might seem :o

i did however manage to save $2 when i bought some sweets from a grocery store by using the 'clubcard' of the guy in the queue behind me :rotfl::rotfl:

Off to update sig, hope you're all enjoying the good weather.

Just had my sitting room decorated as a early birthday present for my big birthday which is in a month so 'needed' new lightshades.

I managed two NSDs since I last posted taking me up to NSD #24.

Yesterday was definitely, definitely not an NSD  but at least my DD2 is nearly ready for school, it's her transition from primary to secondary so I really wanted her to be smart and comfortable (and to fit in with her new peers) so I spent more than I normally would  Didn't plan on spending it yesterday but as I was there I thought it would save me a journey later.

Not going anywhere today so I can get the last one to meet my final target - fingers crossed. :)

    Have a great day :D

    Good Morning. :)

Thanks guys, I was actually there on business so spent most of my time in meetings - not so hard to clock up NSD when you can't get out :rotfl: Not sure if jet lag is still lingering, or whether I'm being a lazy trout, hardest is getting up as my body is still 6hrs behind, and I'm not a morning person at the best of times.

Off to work out Aug target, realistically I need to tighten the purse strings this month, but my friend is back over from Oz for a visit so I will be catching up with her too. Hmmm...might mull that one over with a cuppa.
