Blimey Mr Swedish Chef, that's quite a novel way to make pancakes! He is so funny, thanks for the link.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Glad you enjoyed it, I thought I might try it sometime, it would wake the neighbours up :rotfl::rotfl:
I did manage it,but it didn't quote properly, but I'll try again.I know exactly what you mean about it being easier to do than to describe.

    Thank you!
np, I'm pleased it made sense. You'll probably manage it fine next time you try :)
mmmmmm no rain ..... bad hayfever today :( - won't say it tho':)
Maisie's looking a bit - flat (not sure how else to describe it) - please keep your fingers crossed as this was how her illness started the last time:(. Really hope she's OK.
(((hugs))) rising for your hayfever and a big doggy (((hug))) for Maisie, hope she perks up tomorrow xx

Was all on course for a NSD, hooray I think to myself! Go to Mums and she says can you just nip me to Morrisons, no problems I thought, I am going tomorrow anyway so I don't need anything........................................walked past the fruit and veg oooopsie stand and what do I see but large packs of mushrooms, packs of bananas (LO is a monkey I am sure!) and massive lumps of broccoli all reduced to just 29p each! Well I couldnt leave them there knowing for well I would be paying full price tomorrow so bang went another NSD! Did get 2 huge broccolis, 12 bananas and 2kg of mushroom for £1.74 though so cant moan can I ! :T
The ferret and marmite sandwiches are going down well then, Pips Mum :D:D

Wow... love the bargains today :T:T There is no way you could have missed those. Maybe try beanie's suggestion to help with things like that?

Red - well done you on the weight loss :j:j:j:j

kerri - how many toilet rolls?????? :rotfl:

Still on no 14 here, more spends today :(:(, but I'm hopeful for no 15 tomorrow........ if I can avoid looking at any shops when I go to the library tomorrow:D:D
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

    Good morning folks:),

Thanks for the comments about my weight loss, but for me keeping it off will be the biggest hurdle:o.
Having caught up on some of the posts, Rising I hope the hayfever has improved and Maisy is better.
Kerri, I have no idea how you even begin to store 96 loo rolls or how long it would take to use that number, but your shopping trips are fantastic:)
I hope everyone else is well and looking forward to the weekend:).
I'm off to get my car serviced today, so no NSD for me:eek:
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D

    Quick breakdown for you...

1 pack in use -> airing cupboard
1 pack for next use -> under the spare bed
    2 x packs for future use -> loft :D

I should think that it will last us quite a while given there's only me and OH (although we do have two on the go at a time) but I didn't want to risk getting caught short so to speak like we nearly did this time :rotfl::rotfl:

    Targets met today:

Frodobaggins – Woo hoo well done for number 13, 5 in a row & target met!! :j:j
Freeby will increase your target to 16 when she updates the front page.

Lots of NSDs rolling in today, so well done to:

    Fae – well done for number 10 & 4 in a row!! Ooh & number 11!! :j:j
7 in a row is an awesome challenge, go you!!

rising from the ashes – well done for number 9 & 4 in a row!! :j:j
I’ve got everything crossed for Maisie, I do hope she won’t be ill again poor little thing.

bottleofred – well done for number 11 & yay to the gym work paying off, well done you!! :j:j

    And hello to:

hotspur_pam – Like your snack buying plan for next week, those NSD’s will soon be rolling in!!

Pips Mum – wow to those fruit & veg bargains, I would definitely say that they were worth losing an NSD for!!

kerri gt – 96 toilet rolls!!!! You’ll be fine eating Igor’s sandwiches for a fair while then!! :rotfl:

Not one for me unfortunately, as my friend from work had fetched me a load of cheap meat from the market, bless him! It's a bit inconvenient that it scuppers a NSD, but it does save me a trek to the next town & means the freezer will soon be chock full of slow cooker meals, which can only be good for my grocery budget!!

Not a NSD for me today, as we needed some food, so I thought I'd better spend some money, but now going to try for 7 in a row

Hey all, posting early while I can tonight, am off on business tomorrow across the big pond so not sure how much time I'll have to keep up with the news - should be promising for NSD though. Since I have 101 things to do tonight, and an early flight tomorrow, I'm declaring NSD #8 for today as I won't have time for internet shopping this evening.

Turned out to be a lovely day here bar one torrential rain shower (thankfully not during boot camp) must admit I am looking forward to giving my limbs a wee break, ankle bandaged again today as still feeling it, lucky as I half went over on it again whilst running - couple of folks in the fitness industry think it might be ligament damage, I'll have to see how a week of rest helps it, and if it's not better or improving when I get back it will be off to the quacks for me.

    Another one today,so that's #14.

rising hope Maisie has perked up

Hope you all have a good weekend!
  • Ohhhh, "you lot" are all :A - thanks for the well wishes for Maisie. We had a short walk to the park & back this morning but haven't ventured out again yet. She seems OK today and has had a good play with toys etc - fingers crossed. I'm in the process of changing insurer so need her to be OK for the next 14 days! (although still covered by the old insurer, I'd not then be able to move IYKWIM)
Can I just say that it is the girth of my waistline that makes me go to the gym at 6.30am:o, although having weighed myself in the gym today, am the lightest I have been for a long long time:D.

    :T:T Well done Red - that's fantastic.

I finally got around to returning the faulty scales I bought last month - not a good reading on the new ones!:( A couple of people at work have joined a fat club this week & quite tempted to go (but I can't eat veg / fruit which is what a lot of them say you should fill up on) mmmmm

No NSD here - nearly was but realised I've no crumpets left for breakfast so 90p spend!
